When Nicki Minaj invited Cassie Ventura to join her in her new video she probably thought it would be fun working with her friend.

What she might not have expected is that the sultry R & B singer would steal the show in her high cut white swimsuit.

Still, it certainly looked as if the girls were having fun as they filmed the video for The Boys.

Rapper Nicki has no less than four outrageous wig and costume changes – including a lace bikini – in her just-released video.The bold 29-year-old delivers a nonsensical, candy-coated daydream of a video where the pair ask in the chorus ‘why the boys are always spending all their money on love?’
The Boys is Nicki’s first single from Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up, the re-release of her sophomore album due in stores in November 19.
The frivolous clip, directed by Colin Tilley, is set in a technicolor, cartoon-style street, barbershop, and polka-dot dream world where the two ladies gratuitously flaunt their enviable curves.

In fact, the 26-year-old songstress nearly steals the video from Minaj when she appears onscreen in a sexy white one-piece bathing suit with a thong back.

Not to be outdone by Cassie, Nicki makes sure to show off her famous curvaceous form in a tiny string bikini as she poses next to a bizarre ‘T-rex’ motorized tricycle.
The video opens with a newspaper headline ‘Barber shop burns down after “freak” flame thrower accident.’

Later on, Nicki is clearly the culprit as she is seen excitedly brandishing a flame thrower while wearing a blonde bombshell wig with a studded denim bralet with a ladylike full skirt.

The outlandish pop star is first seen wearing a cotton candy-coloured bouffant wig with an eye-opening neon bralet while suggestively bouncing on a yoga ball.

Nicki finishes her looks with a hot pink bra, light blue blazer, and backwards leopard-print baseball cap as pink-tuxedoed dancers carrying umbrellas sway in the sunshine behind her.
The Superbass singer later pretends to have her long pink wig blow-dried by a busty blonde while clad in a green-and-pink printed bodysuit, lavender tights, and purple pumps.

During two set-ups, the former model even dyed her mohawk-shaved black tresses neon yellow to better blend in with Nicki’s candy-coloured world.

The petite rapper will embark on her ‘Apart of Roman Released European Tour’ starting October 21 in Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena and ending December 8 at Perth Arena in Australia.
Last April, Tilley also helmed Nicki’s video for I Am Your Leader featuring Cam’ron and Rick Ross.
The 24-year-old, whose directed 19 videos for Chris Brown, has also worked with Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Usher, and Wiz Khalifa.
